Bangsbo Dyrepark

44 acres of fenced-off woods and meadows with around 40 free-range fallow, red and sika deer. Particularly interesting in the spring when the animals calve, and in the mating season in autumn.

Nature trail that stretches some 5 km from Pikkerbakken in the south along the edge of the Bangsbo Fort area.

About 30 explanatory charts along the tour tell you about the monuments, manor houses, and natural surroundings, including animal and bird life.

Hiking: Kongestien, The King Trail - 8 Km

The Bangsbo area in southern Frederikshavn is a popular destination with many gems. Here you can enjoy the fantastic nature on a walk along the path with the royal sounding name – Kongestien (The Kings trail).

Hiking: Dyrehaven, Frederikshavn, Red Route - 2,7 km

Red Jogging Route 2,7 Kms in the Deerpark.

Hiking: Dyrehaven, Frederikshavn, Yellow route - 2,4 km

In the Deerpark there is a jogging route of 2,3 km.

Hiking: Dyrehaven, Frederikshavn, Blue Route - 4,5 km

In the Deerpark there are also Fittness Routes. The blue route is 4,5 Km long.

Elling Å

Fishing is allowed between Elling and KvisselChance of catching trout, roaches (rutilus) and eels.Only members of the local fishing society "Lystfiskeriforeningen for Frederikshavn og Omegn" are allowed to fish here.Remember to purchase the compulsory fishing licences.
