Keramikværkstedet Beide B is a working ceramics workshop with shop, centrally located on the pedestrian street
The space is divided into zones for clay working, shaping, glaze making, glazing, decoration, firing and sales.
With a special focus on the gastronomic area, Beide B collaborates with two top restaurants and with Læsø Salt. The expression in the gourmet series is delicate and organic, elegant and raw.
Art ceramics are also made in two different tracks. One track shows a spontaneous imaginative flow of figurations. The other track is inspired by the close surroundings in Sæby: the beach, the forest and the idyllic old town environment.
Both B's ambition is to make things that connect us with nature and history and tell us who we are. Things that are good enough to be made and that we connect with, use and keep for generations.
Behind the nickname Beide B is Lene Merethe Bertelsen, who has many years of experience teaching art to adults, and the workshop offers an introductory course for couples or small groups.
