GREEN ROUTE - 2.5 KM.
This is a pleasant little walk or run from the harbor along the seafront via residential streets past the roaring weir at Sæby Water Mill and back to the harbor through the oldest part of Sæby.
If you would like, take a rest in Sæby Church under the magnificent murals from the monastery time.
The city by the sea and the winding river
Algade, which follows the meanders of the river, is lined with large merchant houses, while Strandgade has been a fishermen's neighborhood for centuries. Notice the many historic buildings on the tour:

- Clasens Gård 1750 (Algade 3). Formerly Clasens Hotel, where writers and artists such as Herman Bang and Gustav Wied spent summers in the 1890s partying in the garden by the river.
- Adda Ravnkilde's house, 1840. Authoress 1862-83 (Algade 7).
- Hans Grams Gård, 1624 (Algade 12).

Map over the four routes (Danish).
'Kløverstierne' is a nationwide trail concept that offers a great opportunity to walk, cycle or run a measured and marked route, where you can also get a lot of experiences. A 'kløversti' consists of four routes, all of which start from a centrally located cloverleaf post. In Sæby it is located at Sæby Harbor by the bridge over Sæby Å.
