Frydenstrand Camping

Frydenstrand Camping, located 20 km east of Aalborg, is the place to enjoy your holiday/leisure time in harmony with nature. The campsite is beautifully situated by the Limfjord with views of Aalborg and Hals.

Frydenstrand Camping is one of the few campsites in Denmark with direct access to the water and can always offer a sheltered pitch, no matter which way the wind blows. You can also stay overnight in a cabin or cabin apartment.

Scenic area with rich wildlife

The campsite is located next to the Limfjord in a scenic area with views of both Hals and Aalborg. The area is rich in wildlife and you can see both golden eagles and sea eagles breeding a few kilometres from the campsite. You may also be lucky enough to spot cranes and snake eagles.

It's possible to fish directly from the beach or head to the pier in Mou harbour, which is 300 metres from the campsite. You can also take the boat and sail further out on the fjord.

When booking a pitch, you can specify whether you want morning sun, evening sun, shelter, shade or something completely different.
