Scandic Aalborg Øst - Venue

Scandic Aalborg Øst is a cosy hotel with newly renovated rooms, its own restaurant, bar, sauna and gym. Here, you have many different opportunities to network and enjoy yourself when the conference day is over. You can, of course, also retreat to you room when you begin to feel tired.

Conference and meeting facilities

With its nine top modern, flexible and light meeting rooms, all filled with AV equipment, Scandic Aalborg Øst is the perfect place to host a meeting or conference. In the meeting rooms, all of which are located on the ground floor and have direct access to the hotel's green areas, there is space for up to 300 participants.

Accommodation

Scandic Aalbrg Øst has 101 newly renovated rooms, all of which are comfortably decorated in a modern Nordic style and have separate relaxation and work areas. The rooms are divided into four different types, and many of them have a view of the beautiful nature surrounding the hotel. All the rooms have their own bathroom, satellite TV, free Wi-Fi as well as comfortable armchairs where you can relax in front of the TV after a long day.

In the morning, you can start the day with a large breakfast buffet consisting of more than 100 different option. A lot of the food is organic and the coffee is sustainable. The breakfast restaurant is open on weekdays from 6:30-9:30, and from 7:00-10:00 during the weekends.

Restaurant

At Scandic Aalborg Øst you can find the restaurant, Garden, which serves dishes inspired by Danish and Scandinavian cuisine. The restaurant is located in the middle of the hotel and has a beautiful view of the nature surrounding the hotel. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cosy and the menu varies, but regardless of what you choose from the menu, you are guaranteed a real gourmet experience. 

Other facilities/possibilities

At Scandic Aalborg Øst, you can find a shop which is open 24 hours a day. Here, you can buy everything from a toothbrush to playing cards or a snack, or you can buy a light meal, a cup of coffee or juice to enjoy in you room.

When the conference program is over for the day, you can relax in the hotel's sauna or you can get a workout in at the hotel's well equipped gym. Should you wish to just enjoy the company of the other conference participants, you can spend some time at the hotel's bar, which has a wide selection of both Danish and international beer, that you can enjoy in informal surroundings.

There is free parking just in front of the hotel for those guests arriving by car.
